Welcome to our private oasis nestled within the city limits! This 4400 sqft home, 10-acre estate sleeps 10 and features a gourmet kitchen, pickleball, private 2-acre pond w/ covered dock, swimming pool, spa and fire pit. Relax in the screened patio, 2 family rooms, and a master bedroom fit for royalty. With an office and laundry, this retreat offers both luxury and convenience. The backyard is canopied under huge oak trees, resembling a beautiful park. Only 1-mile from shopping and restaurants.

~ Each room has a TV (7 TVs total)

~ Gourmet Kitchen equipped and ready to go

~ New Pickleball Court (paddles and balls not provided); No skateboards or bikes please.
~ Swimming Pool
~ Hot Tub takes up to 45-minutes to heat.
~ Large Pond for fishing (catch and release)
~ Paddle and canoe boats
~ Backyard Canopied with large oak trees; over 50 large trees on our property
~ Fire pit ready for making smores
~ By September 15th, we will have a small private cabin (1 bedroom/1 bath) also available
~ 200-ft circular drive way
~ Extra wide driveway
~ All exterior doors have keypad locks
~ No steps to the front door; However we do have a sunken living room with 2 steps down - please be careful.
We have a Manager (Colleen) that lives in the guesthouse next to the pool. She is there to care for our 10-acre property, to do the cleaning, to care for the pool and landscaping. Feel free to say hello if you see her in passing and let her know if there is anything you need.
Our lot is one of the largest lots in our neighborhood. Most of the homes are on 3-5 acre lots. Our home is just 1-mile from Broadway (the "epicenter" of shopping, restaurants, parks, and entertainment in Tyler).

We are located in the Tyler city limits and within minutes of an incredible number of stores, shops, restaurants, hospitals, etc. Uber transportation is easy to use. We have parking on the grounds.
We are just 2-minutes from Faulkner Park featuring several picnic areas, restrooms, pavilions, baseball/softball fields, batting cages, playground, tennis facility, fishing pond, sprayground, 8-miles of nature trails, and skate park.
We have a Managers (Colleen) that lives in the guesthouse next to the pool. She is there to care for our 10-acre property, to do the cleaning, and to care for the pool and landscaping.
Please note that our "Pool Hours" are 8:00am to 11:00pm.
We have a new Pickleball Court close to the main house, canopied by big trees - paddles and balls are not provided. Please don't let children skateboard or ride bikes on the court (this will damage the surface).
We have a canoe and paddle boat available for rent ($50/stay). Contact Preston if you are interested. A Liability Waiver is required.

Summary: While our family had a wonderful time visiting with each other, I don’t feel the property quite lived up to its description. Our group consisted of mostly Sr. Citizens. We were not made aware of the multiple steps in the home until we walked in the front door. The living room is “sunken” and there are numerous elevation changes all throughout the home. Thankfully we only had one fall. I strongly feel this should be disclosed in the property description. There is no indoor pool as listed in the description, at least we did not find it in 3 days. The water pressure in the home is very low and to get hot water, you have to turn the showers on well in advance. We called the on-site caretaker to come figure out why we didn’t have any hot water, he said this is just how it was and you have to let it warm up. The pickleball court was not usable until we had to sweep/blow it off. It would have been nice if this had been done before we arrived. We were told the caretaker lived onsite at the back of the property. With the property being 10 acres, we assumed we would have our privacy. The caretaker home was right near us in the backyard beside the pool and while the caretaker was very nice, it was as if the caretaker and his wife were among us the whole time. Thankfully we have a wonderful family and still had a wonderful time being together.

Summary: Piece of Paradise home was the perfect place for our family to come together and relax. It’s the perfect setting with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own way of entertainment or together as a family sharing a meal or movie together. The location is perfect next to shopping and restaurants but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The owners were so kind and helpful when we had questions and there is a host that takes care of the property that lives in the pool house. That wasn’t stated in the listing but it didn’t bother us. She was so kind, helpful and left us alone. The pickleball court was a big hit as well as the pool and pond. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Spacious in & out at the property. Old retired college buddies golf weekend & the pictures don't do the property justice. Property Mgr & Owner were most accommodating. Will use this property again.

Summary: This was our 2nd trip to this property, both times for graduations from college for our kids. It is the perfect place for a relaxed family gathering. Both the owners and the caretaker were so responsive and kind. The property is well stocked. Communication is excellent.

Summary: The property was amazing. We were there with my tow adult daughters and there spouses (+ one granddaughter ) and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved sitting by the pool (unfortunately the Spa did not work) and my son-in-laws even fished in the pond. I think the listing and pictures are accurate…which I always appreciate when using VRBO. This is not the most modern home you’ll find but if you’re looking for a lot of space for a large family then this property is worthy of consideration.

Summary: The home and property were lovely. Very cozy and homey feeling. The only challenge for us, were the stairs that went down into the sunken living room, master bedroom and laundry room. I think that needs to be clearly disclosed in the listing. Otherwise, the property was beautiful but needed some landscaping. Very convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping. Thank you for the snacks on arrival!

Summary: We chose to stay in Tyler Texas for a family holiday this year. We try to create memories in place of gifts. The house was perfectly located near shopping, but yet gives the feeling of being in the country. The property is beautiful. The accommodations were perfect. We spent more than we normally would, but it was well worth the price.

Summary: This beautifully decorated home was so perfect for our family Christmas. It was a very peaceful place with spectacular views. We enjoyed fishing and exploring the property We loved all the large open rooms and the huge decked out kitchen. It was very comfortable and super clean. The host was great and made our stay even better. The location and upscale amenities are even better than the listing shows. We would most definitely recommend this well managed property!
